OCAF Presents to City Environment and Climate Change Committee

April 20, 2023

This week OCAF’s Executive Director, Steve Winkelman, provided our annual update to the City of Ottawa Environment and Climate Change Committee. He provided an overview of OCAF’s recent activities to accelerate Ottawa’s transition to an equitable, carbon neutral future. Steve shared examples of OCAF grants and projects on low-carbon buildings, transportation, 15-minute communities and climate communication that support implementation of the City’s Energy Evolution Strategy

Councillors from the Committee expressed their gratitude for OCAF’s work and shared some stories about OCAF-funded projects they have encountered in their wards. We look forward to continuing to work closely with the City of Ottawa to advance low-carbon solutions that benefit all Ottawans.
